I rarely blog family sessions, but I felt really inclined to blog this one! I met Jazz some time last year at a 5K that supported the families of the fallen heroes of 9/11. She’s herself is a Seminole County Firefighter (just like my husband), and she’s pretty amazing. She’s so involved in the community, and she’s always spearheading a ton of events for the firefighter community. She recently ran a full marathon (that’s 25+ miles) in FULL bunker gear, in support of cancer awareness in the fire department. I had no idea that 1 in 3 firefighters are likely to be diagnosed with some type of cancer. Lots of respect to Jazz for always being in the front line of these important causes.

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Jazz and her gorgeous kids, on Daytona Beach for a fun sunrise session. We had such a great time going up and down the beach, while taking some pretty awesome shots of her and her family. Although we got some amazing shots, it was particularly hazy that morning, so I thought it would be a great idea to meet up again, for some more shots!

For their second session, we headed to Rollings College, where we walked up and down the campus, looking for some great photo opps! Jazz showed up looking gorgeous, and of course, her kids looked wonderful as usual! Both her kids are so awesome! Her son Kelo is such an amazing big brother to his little sister Norah, pretty much protecting her like brother bear.

It’s been so fun hanging out with this super easy going family, and I’m so glad I got to make these memories for them!
