Beautiful St Cloud Wedding at Lake Runnymede Park

When Melissa asked me to capture her wedding, I was so incredibly honored! I met Melissa about four years ago, when she was photographing my best friend’s wedding. She had such a great presence about her – always smiling and laughing, making everyone around her feel super comfortable. At the time, I was engaged, so of course, I was paying close attention to the wedding photographers, lol. When my

friend Elizabeth received her finalized wedding pictures, they where absolutely stunning. Shortly after that, we contracted their company, Stay Forever Photography, to capture our wedding as well!! When our wedding day arrived, once again, Melissa and her partner Jess, arrived in great spirits, and did a beautiful job capturing our wedding!

After I decided to open my wedding photography business, I contacted Melissa to pick her brain. I had so many questions, and instead of her turning my overly eager self away, she very lovingly helped me out. Very quickly after that, we became great friends, and now we share a very special bond.

I was soo happy to find out that her then boyfriend, Tyler, popped the big question! They decided to have a very intimate wedding in Saint Cloud, Florida in December. It was absolutely perfect. I was so excited to be their St Cloud Wedding Photographer ! The whole wedding had a rustic feeling to it, with some added southern charm.  The ceremony was held at Lake Runnymede Park, under a gorgeously lit moss tree, with their closest friend’s and family standing nearby. Both Melissa and Tyler’s vows where so` moving. It nearly brought me to tears, but I had to maintain my composure, since I had a camera in my hand! Lol!

After the ceremony, we did their bridal portraits right in the middle of the beautiful moss trees! It was a photographer’s dream to shoot in such a perfect area. Of course, Melissa picked the spot, so it was to be expected! We then headed to Diane’s Tea Room, in downtown Saint Cloud, for some super delicious brunch, tea, and most importantly, MIMOSAS! The Tea Room is absolutely lovely. It has so much color and punch when you walk in, that it just made the perfect setting for their brunch time reception.

I’m so happy that I was able to be there, along with my family and baby girl, Penelope Anne, to witness such a genuine expression of love between two people. Thanks for letting me be a part of such a special day.  From me and my family, we sincerely wish you and Tyler and eternity of happiness. These are favorite shots from Melissa and Tyler’s big day!!
