A couple weeks ago, we headed to Downtown Orlando to meet up with Carla & Josh! These two got hitched early in the morning, and Paul and I were there to capture this huge moment! Immediately after tying the knot, we explored all the nooks and crannies Downtown Orlando has to offer, and the result was magical!

We pretty much hit any spot that looked remotely interesting! We started right outside the courthouse, and later headed to some nearby train tracks! I mean, no photo shoot is complete without some train tracks! After, we headed to Lake Eola for some more traditional shots, followed by some parking garage fun! Carla had brought some fun elopement signs for the shoot, so we thought the parking garage was a great spot to show them off.

We ended this fun morning at this amazing graffiti wall! I’ve seen a lot of awesome walls in downtown Orlando, but this is by far my favorite. It’s just so bright and beautiful, and it just brings a smile to your face. =)

I’m so glad that we were able to share in Carla & Josh’s fun and exciting morning! It truly was an honor to be a part of their big day!

Backyard Wedding Photographer

Cheyenne reached out to me several months ago about possibly shooting her wedding! We went back and forth over email for a while, and I felt that we immediately hit it off. When she described the style of her wedding as “Backyard Glam”, I knew I needed to be there!

The week before their wedding, Cheyenne and I met up for a quick cup of coffee, and to go over the wedding timeline. She began telling me all the amazing details she had planned for the big day, and I just kept getting more excited. I wasn’t really sure how everything was going to come together, since their were so many moving parts, but it definitely all sounded amazing.

The day of the wedding, my husband and I headed to Cheyenne’s house, were she was getting ready. Conveniently, it was also two houses down from the actual wedding ceremony and reception. Paul headed down the street to meet the guys, and I stayed with the girls. Everyone was so excited and anxious as they waited for the big event to start. I made good use of my time and captured some great details, as well as, some great shots of the girls. The bridesmaids had beautiful and unique dresses, that were full of SPARKLE, which tied in perfectly with the theme of the wedding. After everyone was ready to go, we literally ran down the street, to kick off the ceremony.

The ceremony was so beautiful. Is was held under a lovely pergola that was decorated with beautiful, bright flowers, and a spectacular chandelier hanging from the center. The ceremony was full of love and laughter, and even had a special appearance by Murph – Cheyenne & Robbie’s sweet pup!

After the ceremony, we headed to the rose garden where he did family/bridal portraits, followed by an intimate bride and groom session.

I’m so glad Paul and I had the opportunity to be a part of Cheyenne & Robbie’s special day. Everything was absolutely perfect! Here are my favorite shots from their fabulous wedding day!

Orlando Family Photographer

I rarely blog family sessions, but I felt really inclined to blog this one! I met Jazz some time last year at a 5K that supported the families of the fallen heroes of 9/11. She’s herself is a Seminole County Firefighter (just like my husband), and she’s pretty amazing. She’s so involved in the community, and she’s always spearheading a ton of events for the firefighter community. She recently ran a full marathon (that’s 25+ miles) in FULL bunker gear, in support of cancer awareness in the fire department. I had no idea that 1 in 3 firefighters are likely to be diagnosed with some type of cancer. Lots of respect to Jazz for always being in the front line of these important causes.

Recently, I had the opportunity to spend some time with Jazz and her gorgeous kids, on Daytona Beach for a fun sunrise session. We had such a great time going up and down the beach, while taking some pretty awesome shots of her and her family. Although we got some amazing shots, it was particularly hazy that morning, so I thought it would be a great idea to meet up again, for some more shots!

For their second session, we headed to Rollings Collegewhere we walked up and down the campus, looking for some great photo opps! Jazz showed up looking gorgeous, and of course, her kids looked wonderful as usual! Both her kids are so awesome! Her son Kelo is such an amazing big brother to his little sister Norah, pretty much protecting her like brother bear.

It’s been so fun hanging out with this super easy going family, and I’m so glad I got to make these memories for them!
