A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend The Develop Workshop at the Cypress Grove Estate House. This venue is absolutely gorgeous! The estate overlooks a beautiful lake, and is completely surrounded by endless moss trees. This is such an amazing place for a wedding – without even trying, the venue is the perfect backdrop for any event. At the workshop, led by Amalie from Amalie Orrange Photography and Ashley from Ashley McCormick Photography, we discussed all things wedding photography related. As a wedding photographer, I’m always trying to learn as much as I can, so that I can continue fine tuning my craft. I feel that learning should always be a number one priority in everything you do! No matter where you are in your career, there is always room for more knowledge, and there is especially always room for growth. I absolutely love learning from other photographers! I admire this industry so much, because it is filled with so many great people willing to extend a helping hand. Since moving to Orlando Florida, I have had the opportunity to network with so many great people, and have made so many great friends that share this photography connection. We are all striving for the same goal, yet we are all so different in what we do. The Develop Workshop provided so much great information, but even more so, it allowed us to build relationships with great people. Here are some of my favorite shots I captured at the styled shoot!
A special thanks to everyone who made the workshop happen! Andy and my husband work together at the Seminole County Fire Department, and when Andy & Suni asked if I would photograph their wedding, I was beyond excited! And when they asked me to shoot at the fire station, I was ALL IN! Congratulations to you both! Here is a quick teaser from this morning <3 <3 <3
